The SAP Adapter enables .NET and BizTalk applications to communicate with the SAP system. It provides a simple user-friendly tool to browse the SAP Repository for Application Hierarchies, Business Objects, Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPIs), Remote Function Calls (RFCs), and Intermediate Documents (Idocs). It also provides Drilldown capabilities to view the associated inbound and outbound parameters, parameter data types, data lengths, and documentation. Furthermore, it provides an XML Schema generator that generates RFC, BAPI, and IDoc schemas compatible with the schemas published by SAP in the Interface Repository and provides and XML Template generator that can generate XML Templates that can be populated to invoke RFCs, BAPIs and Idocs. It also provides asynchronous and synchronous transmission of IDocs to SAP. Synchronous transmission returns SAP IDoc number created in SAP.
