Founded by individuals with more than combined 25 years in US, UK and Nepalese high-tech industry but now on the ground of Kathmandu, we are run by a multi-degreed MIT and CMU graduate with Silicon Valley experience.

Rabi Karmacharya: Rabi has over 13 years of experience in technology and management. An entrepreneur at heart, he left a comfortable job as a design engineer at a reputed firm in the Silicon Valley and returned to his native Nepal to start HT, one of the first exclusive outsourcing companies in Nepal. An avid proponent of ethical business practices, he helped establish HT as a company that put high value on its employees. In 2007, he started an organization to introduce One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) in rural schools in Nepal.
Rabi holds a BSc and MEng in Electrical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Vaibhaw (Bob) Poddar: With a master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon and 2 years experience at SalesForce, San Francisco, Bob is back at the helm of HT where it all started for him 5 years ago. He has extensive knowledge and experience with a 360 degree view of Web based application development. In the five years he has worked as Quality Engineer, Systems Designer, Database Designer and Performance Engineer. Now he is leading the operations at HT.

Ram Krishna Singh: Ram Krishna completed his Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from B.I.E.T, Karnataka. He describes himself as lazy and stupid, but his experience as a Database Designer/System Designer totally denies these personal trait. He started coding from the year 1999 and is doing so till date. Currently, he is engaged at OLE as Power Engineer. While at OLE Ram got a masters degree in Renewable Energy Engineering from I.O.E Pulchowk, Nepal.

HT people does not only do business. One Laptop per Child (OLPC) was one of such projects where several of our developers and our Managing Directors volunteered. HT is also involved in providing technical supporting to Trinetra Foundation (for blind orphan children). HT is working to educate Nepal’s children and our founder works extensively for children’s rights.
